Had this idea for a water-breathing type hero. Probably a mutant of some sort, not descended from Atlantis or anything. She has a handicap, she cannot speak. Every sound she utters is immediately enrapturing. In addition, she is fully amphibious, has superhuman strength and is resistant to injury to a greater degree than a normal woman. She can see in darkness and navigate by echo-location, too.
