This is the first design I've seen of TLSC where Lara-Su actually looks like an alien, instead of a crappy echidna.

Well, the first version of her I saw was the comic version, before Archie dug themselves into a hole and messed up big time. So this version seems unnatural in a way.
This in no way is a means to discredit your artistic skills though so please do not think that.

10/10, overall the design is alot more appealing to look at compared to the original "design" ( if you can call it that). She actually looks alot more alien like she how she supposedly is. π

You did the original design a kind of justice I'm pretty sure nobody thought could be given to it. Proportions are just right, and the details like the hands and feet feel much more fresh and original than... well, the original.

I think the best part about this, illustrated by the eyes, is that she actually looks young, like a teenager. Amazing what minor details to certain features can achieve.
