Nowadays I can appreciate the fan film as a thing. But maybe a slightly different execution would have worked out better.

Sonic is supposed to be the one that never cries, right?
Then why, in the bottom panel, is Sonic crying and Manic not?

Sonic + Anatomically Correct Mouth = EPIC FAILURE!
I thought the film itself was kinda cool but Sonic looked just a bit to goofy to me, and putting normal looking humans in a Sonic world NEVER works out, it always makes one or the other look out of place...usually Mobians.
Hopefully they pick it back up, what we saw was just a prototype, and they'll tweak it so that seeing that mouth move doesn't make you cringe.
Fun Trivia!: The Nostalgia Critic was going to be cast as Dr. Robotnik but in the end he didn't get the part (probably because he was goofing with them to much) and instead he plays the G.U.N agent Sonic first saves near the beginning of the film.
