I explained in my last post that recommended that I draw and Uncle Deadly from the Muppets. So... I did. Deadly is a very unique looking Muppet, he is based on a gargoyle character design by Michael Frith. He was a lot of fun to draw.Related content

One of my favorite Muppets of all time! I was so happy to see him in the new movie! *laughs* My brother and I saw him saving the theater from a mile away, though. We both even said just a few seconds before he essentially said the same: "He's evil, but he's an actor first and foremost. He can't bear to see a theater destroyed!"

Actually I think they turned the gargoyle concept to a dragon, cause he looks more like one of those Asian dragons then a garg.

Thanks Dan! I usually have to draw out a few thumbnails before I get into a sketch like this. This time, however, I drew Kermit with that expression the first time, loved it, and ran with it.
The Muppets are wonderful anomalies. It is amazing that puppets that should have no expression have such a wide range of action and emotions.

Well, thinking about your cartooning style and what characters seem to fit it--I think a Dark Crystal piece, with Jen and Kira and a Skeksis, would be great!
