Description
One of the first Commissions to come about from my Celebration V escapades. My new friend Ryan over at Rebelscum.com requested a ROTJ scene...The scout trooper circles around to take out Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, but has no idea it'll be the last thing he does!
This one was a lot of fun!!

Sweet! I don't usually like the pointy lightsaber look, but it gives a modern edge to a classic scene here. The background just makes me feel like the whole scene is moving.

haha Thanks, Kaela! Between this and the TFN Carbon Freezing chamber piece, I am LOVING doing all of these original trilogy scenes. They're a freakin blast! There's actually another ROTJ one coming up soon, too...

With Star Wars, I'm now seeing every single scene/picture/video game/whatever in your art style.
And it is awesome that way. But I hadn't yet imagined this one. If I had, I know that it would not have
been as awesome as this is. Love the setting--the tangled forest of Endor is captured most accurately, here.
The overall setup of Luke vs. the speeder is great, adds a lot of cool feeling and depth as Luke is being charged @ and shot @. But I think he's ready. Two things I notice in particular about this one--another amazing piece that leaves me staring for FOREVER--is the awesome appearance of the Saber and Luke's outfit. The Saber ends in a point, which is pretty awesome. And Luke's outfit has the classic look to it, just barely noticable amongst all the other awesomeness.

The speeder bike scene was one of my favorites from Return of the Jedi, that and the song in Jabba's palace (Special Edition Remake version) where the little furry guy runs up, opens his big mouth just yelling out a part and you see all the saliva and gums, eww!
