Not if it also rettcons Karen Taviss' books. This show is essentually the reason why the Commando novels were cancelled and I really liked those books.

It's all fiction. You have the choice to pick and choose what you want to acknowledge, since none of it happened anyway. Plotholes and retcons are really annoying, but when a story get so expansive, by so many different people, that sort of thing is bound to happen. It's also George's universe and he has the right to retcon anything he himself didn't establish. The counter of that, like I said, is to simply ignore what it is you don't like. Sucks that Traviss isn't writing anymore books, but at least we're getting so much Star Wars content in the first place.

Yeah I just wish that most of the content in the show detailed the clones mainly. Their stories seem to be the best out of the rest of the cast, despite Cody being played as a good guy despite him seeming to have no quarrel in trying to kill Obi-wan in Episode 3. That annoys quite a bit. And that there's no Fordo or more Commando stories. The least they could do in cancelling those books is give us some episodes with Delta Squad or Omega.

Right now they're almost halfway into Season 4, and the last episode was the beginning of a 4-episode clone story arc, and part 1 was easily the best episode since the second season. I highly recommend checking it out if you're willing to give the show one more chance. Anyway, I think this story arc is going to explore a lot of that Order 66 loyalty, because of the way they're structuring the problems. It might address that exact issue with Cody you're talking about, I could see it happening for sure.
As for Fordo, who knows? He might show up at some point. There's so many clones established out there that it's impossible to showcase them all. I'd love to see him but I don't hold his absence to be a discredit to the show.
And finally, the commandos. Delta squad made a brief appearance in one of the Season 3 episodes, so their models are already made...it would be a waste not to use them again. Dave Filoni said that he didn't want to do too much with them simply to leave open the possibility of Lucasarts doing another game. Which I'd prefer that over another TCW appearance, wouldn't you? Nothing in concrete but I respect the decision Dave made on that one. Dave is the guy who's constantly trying to connect the EU to TCW, so his decisions are typically the ones the fans appreciate. I know I do!
