More sketch cards!!! From left to right:Egon Spengler, Green Ranger, Samurai Jack, Leonardo, and Batman. Childhood heroes!!!!
I figured as a fun exercise for myself, and to celebrate an upcoming 20,000 pageview milestone (a big deal for us small-timers), I decided to do 20 new digital sketch cards!
I'll be posting the next set of 5 for every 250 remaining pageviews (I'm actually cheating and posting the first one early). Here's the schedule:

First these sketch cards are awesome, I really love the detail and different style of each one. The green ranger has never had that level of detail on is armor before which is really cool.
With Samurai jack they came close to showing what happened to him by doing a conan ending with Jack with a beard and crown as an old man.(one of my favorite scenes)

Yeah, that Samurai Jack foreshadowing stuff was wicked awesome but they never got to finish. And the voice actor of Aku passed away a few years ago, so if Genndy does the feature film he's been talking about since then, it wouldn't be the same... :\
And just so you know, I saw Army of Darkness the other day, and loved it! I started to do a general color study for the piece you sent me and should hopefully have it done by next week.

Well the only way it could awesome is if it was live action Samurai Jack movie.(one can dream)
Also there is a comic book, Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash which takes place after the evil dead movies and directly after Freddy vs Jason and throws Ash into the mix, It is one of the best written comics I have ever read.
