Description
I can't believe it, but, here it is. To say this was a labor of love with a huge amount of challenges would be the understatement of my life, but I'm so happy to have had this experience and the opportunity to make this.So many people to thank, but I'm literally running out the door to a family function, so I'll take care of that when I get back. In the meantime, please enjoy the video, and let me know what you thought.
Also WATCH AFTER THE CREDITS. While the scene was my idea, that line was improv from my insanely talented one-man cast. You are the man, James.

It's been awhile since I've watched anything and had no criticism at the end of it. That was amazing.

Excellent work by everyone involved in this project, most especially by you, Joe! Had the right feel to it as if this was actually a part of the micro-series universe.
Awesome you were able to get JAT, the original voice actor, involved for this.
And, it was great to see the "Muunilinst 10" LAAT/i gunship in all its rancor-inspired paint scheme glory! Razor Squadron!

Its really good stuff.
Also, it reminded me to check every once in a while to make sure I still have the DVDs of the micro series as well as some of the action fgiures in that CW line, lol!

Thank you so much! There is indeed a new Fordo motion comic on the way next year, with some promo images dropping next week and a teaser hopefully by Christmas. And I just started a Mara Jade comic story (just uploaded the first page a moment ago), so there's lots more coming from me! Thanks for your kind words!

And it's got a good and also interesting title.

Thanks, dude. A motion comic is basically just a comic book in video form. There's a lot of cool ones out there, and I thought I would try to contribute my own to the art world and to Star Wars fans.

It's amazing. Really.
I wish I hadn't been absent while this was being created.
You've done a great job and...I loved it. I like the
"perhaps she's not your type" part. And the end was great.
I was wondering if you were planning on doing a sequel, but
now I see that if a sequel was in the works you'd focus it where
it matters most--on Fox. You've done a great job portraying a
very underappreciated Clone. Has Lucas seen this yet?

Thanks so much, dude! So glad you enjoyed it. And there will indeed be sequels, but yes, they'll be focusing in Fordo, but will still tie into this story. It'll all make sense later.
As far as I know, LFL hasn't seen it yet, but we'll just see what happens!

You're most welcome Joe!
How did you do the voice overs so clearly? I've always wanted to know how to make a good flash movie like you did.
Honestly, I suck at it.
I can voice act and act, but can't animate worth a crap.

JoeHoganArt In reply to AxelHonoo [2012-07-12 08:09:49 +0000 UTC]
You mean how did I record them so clearly, or how did I integrate the recordings in the video?
I didn't actually do any of the recording for the voice work, that was all my super talented special guest's magic, so I couldn't tell you! It came out super crisp and clear and made it very easy for me to work with. As for the video, just lots of panning and messing with audio settings and effect mixing until it all sounded right.
Either way, thanks again!

AxelHonoo In reply to JoeHoganArt [2012-07-14 19:44:19 +0000 UTC]
Well both actually
Wait "special guest's"? You don't mean the voices are from the actual actors for the characters do you?
You're most welcome again my friend

JoeHoganArt In reply to AxelHonoo [2012-07-14 19:56:04 +0000 UTC]
All of the voices in the video were from one very, very talented dude. Even the Siren, thanks to the magic of editing!
And without saying too much, to keep him on legally, he requested to not be credited at the end, so I settled on giving him "extra special thanks" instead. If you look up his name, he's indeed one of my favorite Jedi.

That was SO cool! All the voices were perfect, and the music choices were especially spot on. I recognized quite a few of the scores, and it added so much to the already epic animation and story. I hope you get to be an artist for Star Wars soon, you deserve it with all of that effort

I loved the "Err... I have no "type", Sir"
How did you do this video, it seems really hard to make animations like this (I never tried in fact, I'd love to be able to do that one day!)
π: 0 β©: 1
JoeHoganArt In reply to Evolvana [2012-07-10 22:49:11 +0000 UTC]
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I drew and built all of the moving pieces in Photoshop, and then imported them into a video editing program called Song Vegas 9. With Vegas, I made all the pieces move, and also added all of the sound, voice, and music, and then simply turned it into a video! You should indeed try it, you'd make a great one, I'm sure!

Evolvana In reply to JoeHoganArt [2012-07-11 09:05:04 +0000 UTC]
It sounds simple when you say that but I'm sure it's complicated but maybe one day I'll try. But I fear my comic is not "cartoony" enough for such a video.

JoeHoganArt In reply to Evolvana [2012-07-11 16:46:44 +0000 UTC]
No way! People would eat it up, myself included!!! Lost of motion comics these days aren't cartoony, and they're really good!!
