I can't believe it, but, here it is. To say this was a labor of love with a huge amount of challenges would be the understatement of my life, but I'm so happy to have had this experience and the opportunity to make this.So many people to thank, but I'm literally running out the door to a family function, so I'll take care of that when I get back. In the meantime, please enjoy the video, and let me know what you thought.
Also WATCH AFTER THE CREDITS. While the scene was my idea, that line was improv from my insanely talented one-man cast. You are the man, James.

As to this offering, awesome in one word. A bit anticlimactic (nice turnaround after the monologue, it works though), and a nice nod to the fans (the 2.0 helmet) So this occurs in some gap between season 1 and 2 of Tartakovsky-wars?
I'd like to see an episode based on "Fett club" specifically its golden rule, "No Gungans, ever." Maybe you could explain intrinsically why the Gungans do not appear in the OT?
Are there plans for more projects in the future? (just an agreeing nod or a discouraging headshake lol; two coughs if you cant say anything hahaha).

Glad you liked it! haha Yeah, once I got really far into it, I kinda realized "Man...Fordo really didn't have to do very much." So, in the next installment of what I'm preemptively calling "The Fordo Trilogy," he'll be in a much more considerable amount of danger. And yes, there will be another -- I'm just not sure when. But the gears are turning! haha And yes, it does bridge the gap between the first and second Genndy seasons.

Outstanding! This has a perfect Filoni feel, like it came right from the Clone Wars series. Nice improvements from the original 8 pages you did. Glad you replaced the Jedi w/Obi Wan. Great pacing, slick designs. Caught the Jablonsky tune from Transformers (love that movie score), nice touch. This definitely gets the "Plo Kool" stamp of approval. Looking forward to a sequel...
What software did you use? (re. illustrations, animation, sfx)

haha YES about the Jablonsky song! I freaking love his work. Anytime I hear he's doing a movie/game score, I buy it immediately. So good.
And I'm honored to receive the hypothetical Plo Kool stamp!! hahaha I hope Dave does catch this at some point!
As for software, I did all the art, start to finish, in Photoshop. Turned each moving part into transparent PNGs and imported them into Sony Vegas 9 for video editing. For the next one, I plan on learning Adobe After Effects, as they import layers straight from Photoshop and you don't have to worry about losing quality by rendering pieces. But yeah, all the sound mixing was done right in Vegas as well. You should see the timeline in that thing, it's a MESS! haha So many layers of sound and video, it's absurd.

I was looking up Aayla reference yesterday for the current Topps set I'm doing, and found this on Google, and even said to myself "Oh holy shit, that's some sweet technique" to myself, and didn't even look who did it! LOL I was kidding about the 2-3 day thing, too. hahaha This took four months to do, and that was with some existing art already from the web comic it was based off of hahaha. It was quite the undertaking! So I definitely need a break before diving into part 2, but there will most likely be a part 2 if I can keep the quality consistent with this one.
As for Aayla, that's hilarious! She came out great. Truly awesome work. And I voted -- I doubt I'll see my vote come to fruition, but I chose Yoda! haha He seems to be losing at the moment.
As for James, he hired me to do some work for his live one-man show, and we got to know each other over the course of a few weeks of working with him. Finally at the end of it, I asked him, and he graciously accepted.
