It's not making fun of religion/Christianity, in my opinion. This kind of outlook can actually make reading the bible exciting and fun and not at all boring. There are other kinds of bible comics like yours.

Anyway, great job. I love it.

(Catholicism is kind of strict about imagination when it comes to bible, tee hee. I speak from experience.)
