He's one of my favourites in Darkstalkers and
in any Capcom fighting roster, so it's a shame he 
hasn't been announced in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

Agreed. I have been wanting him to be a playable character outside of the Darkstalkers games in any of the Vs. games since MvC 2. Besides, now that Jedah has made it into Infinite, hopefully if we get another Darkstalker character for a newcomer, I think he has a better chance now. Because I remember that back in MvC 3, he was the most highly requested character from Capcom's side alongside with Mega Man X, Jedah and Gene (God Hand). Hopefully he ends up being announced as DLC for next year. Because now we still need to get the remaining 3 characters for the first season pass for Infinite which are Venom, Black Widow and Winter Soldier. The way I see it, I don't think that they are going to stop there after those 3 and I have a feeling we're going to get more DLC characters in the future like next year just like with Street Fighter 5. Yeah! After reading that article I think
things are looking good to J.Talbain being a DLC 
character.
