I like how you drew the gems and the chair a lot more than the show itself! The way they shine and the way they look more detailed than the show makes me think very highly of your work.
I do prefer the show's pony over yours, but that is just preferance. I think it's the shading (or maybe the lighting) on your pony body that doesn't necessarily agree with me as much as the typical show style, although I must say I do love how soft her mane looks in your drawing.
