"I guess, we don't really have much information on the collage or where exactly the stone is." you say with a sigh. "I guess we're forced to make it up as we go along..."
"More fun that way, kid!" Jack says with a grin. 'Think'n quick on yer feet is all ya need for life and love!' My grandad used to say that!" Used to? You don't like the sound of that.
"Hey, Jack, do you have a girlfriend? I mean with all that 'life and love' stuff you were talking about..." Elise asks.
"Nah. No time. Too much hassle." Jack says. "I mean, making girls swoon for you left and right is fine, but I can't see me in a long term relationship." Just admit it, Jack. You can't get a date. "What about you two? How long have you kids been an item?"
"EH?!" you squeak.
"Yeah, you guys! Quite a cute couple! A fine, pretty little lady and......uh....you, kid."
"Wha?! No! Oh, no! We're, um- you know- just uh-" Oh, man. You're really blushing.
"We're friends," Elise says between giggles, "since we were little."
"Oh. Well, ya could'a fooled me." Jake says with a clueless expression on his face. The rest of the car ride was in awkward silence as the sun began to set.

"Well, kiddos, we're here!" Jake says as he parks the van in a small patch of vegetation close to the parking lot of the collage. "So, we're not seen." he whispers to you. You kind of figured that out. He gets out quickly and quietly and goes to the back door. "You can get out now, little lady."
"Ah, thank God!" she says as she gets out and stretches. "It was a little cramped!" She looks bigger than when she got in. About twice you height! That's about...11 feet?!

"I'll go make sure the coast is clear," Jake says, "Stay here." He silently sneaks into the parking lot, ducking behind a car. He peeks up, looking for something. "No security cameras." he quietly calls back. Hmm...maybe he is better at this than you give him credit for. In a flash, he makes it to a door, without making a sound. He looks again, probably for people. There is likely no one around, this being summer and all.
He motions for you to come to the door. "Come on, El." you say.
"Right!" she says behind you. You both try to sneak to the door, but you are not as good as Jack, and Elise is really to big to be sneaking anyways.
"So far so good!" Jack smiles as he reaches for the door handle. Clunk. "Huh?" Clunk, Clunk. "...door's locked." Jack says as he reaches into his coat and pulls out...a bobby pin?! But that only works in the movies! That doesn't seem to bother him as he begins trying to unlock the door. You and Elise lean in, trying to get a better look at what he's doing. Jack rattles the lock some more, but then the pin breaks. "Uh...do you kids mind?" he says reaching in his coat for another pin. "This is kinda hard, and you kids looking over my shoulder is making me nervous..." He starts at the lock again.

Looks like this could take a while. What should you and Elise do?
