Description
A euphemism is an innocuous word or phrase that is used in place of something stronger or offensive. Why does the corvus improba talk in euphemisms? We don't know. Why does it like hats? We don't know. If there is an euphemistic raven, is there then also a dysphemistic raven? We hope not.And yes, I was totally inspired by Joshua Barkman's wonderful comic Falseknees when I drew this. Oh, right, I recognize that! I heard something similar on a podcast, where they talked about stories of crying ghosts in the wilderness, and how it could have been the mating call of cougars that people had heard.
