Once again I'm experimenting with some painting techniques I'm not too familiar with to create some kind of movie poster. This time for the Japanese movie Onibaba ("Demon hag") from 1964. It's often classified as a horror film, but I think it's more of a period drama with a lot of tension to it. But I wanted to make a horror poster - and I wanted to draw a Hannya mask.
