Wow, the light is amazing. It sets the mood perfectly, like it's straight out of an Indie movie.

Thanks, this render is a combination of a 3delight and Iray render

That's interesting. In what proportion are they merged?

First I tried 3Delight to try to replicate the look of the sample images atΒ www.daz3d.com/bar-interior (I bought it when it was on sale because of the look of these samples). Β I couldn't replicate the look, so I tried an iRay render. It still didn't match the samples. Β So I added an atmoshpereic camera in both modes and combined the two renders in Photoshop using a couple of different blend modes. Β Wasn't what I was intending, but I thought the results were interesting.

It's definitely interesting. I'll keep this recepy in mind, I sometimes use different renders to combine in blends, but never two render engines. A very interesting idea, very worth experimenting with.Β

You're welcome
Dome Light means the build-in Sun, or was it HDRI?Β
And the volumetric came from the camera, right?

It was the default HDRI and the volumetrics came from the camera and a little Photoshop masking of the two types of renders

Maybe HDRI isn't the right term for what I did, I just used the default environment map in iRayΒ

It's a combination of Iray and 3Delight. Β I usedΒ Atmospheric Effects Cameras for DAZ Studio in 3delight andΒ AtmoCam for Iray and combined the two renders in Photoshop.
