Description This is an experiment to examine how "UltraScatter Advanced Instancing for Daz Studio" and "LAMH 2 Iray Catalyzer" work together in DAZ Studio and Iray.  I used UltraScatter  to create 100 Hoplite warriors based off two "Salamis' Mercenary" figures.  I then used LAMH 2 Iray Catalyzer in three "Wolf 2.0 by AM" to create Cerberus.  Then I used a four instances of some trees from "Jungle Construction Kit" to create a quick forest.  No post work. 30 min render.

I absolutely love your take on Cerberus, I've always seen him done as a roti but I think a wolf is much more accurate.

Thank you,
I didn't have a Rottweiler, so I had to go with the wolves

Thank you, I have been meaning to get back to playing with UltraScatter and it needed something furry

of course, cause what would a scene be without the furry aspect?

Pretty sweet for a 30 minute render! You can also use UltraScatter in Vue and there are parameters you can set for model differences angle rotation etc. LOL it takes quite a while to run a render though! Ceberus looks awesome!!

Thank you, I just varied the rotation on the two poses and set them to clump up and not overlap.  I thought it would take forever to render but it was faster than expected
That's cool that it works in Vue.  Vue generates such awesome scenes and  it would be great to add a bunch of figures too.

Yes, I do like my Vue, but bleah ........... so bogs my machine down with render times!

Thank you, I suspected it would be too much for my machine, but it rendered a lot faster than the "Urban Future 5" images I have been doing.

The faces of the dog seem a little too close together but otherwise this looks really good

Thank you, I tried to not use any post work, so I had to keep the three wolf bodies the same and just move their necks and head to keep everything aligned.

It would look a lot better with them separated.  Maybe next time
