Thank you, Hair is the hardest thing to do in #D , so I thought I would get some practice blowing some wind in to it and playing with the lighting

Thank you, I love photos with wind in the hair and it is still the hardest thing to replicate in 3D

Lovely... Good job with the hair... it did not look very impressive in the promos... but this is something different!

Thank you, I have slowly been picking up strand based dForce hair when they are cheap. I have yet to find one that I am in love with, but that may be because I still don't understand how to work with them.Β I figures blowing some wind at them may teach me what they are capable of

Thank you, Ir's so hard to tell if it's just messy hair or not.Β But I am learning so much pointing wind at these hairs and seeing what happens

It looks like my sister's hair after it rains.
Great lighting.

I've always been interested in those windy hair photos and had to try create them in 3d

Thank you, These experiments with dForce hair and a wind node are teaching me a lot

Love the hair. I just wonder, if they can be transferred to other software and rendered in Blender / Cycles or Cinema 4D / Vray
Maybe as OBJ

Thank you, I haven't tried transferring dForce hair to other programs. From my other experiments, I assume an OBJ would be huge.Β Plus all those other programs handle hair so much better than DAZ that it might not be worth the effort

Thank you, It seems like the trick is to blast this hair with a lot of backlights

Thank you, The trick seems to give the hair a powerful backlight

I think this one is better than your other attempt.

Thank you, I keep learning new things with each experiment. It's still hard to predict the results, but it's taking fewer simulations to get smoother results
