lovely effect, could almost get me to go back to Lux - if it wasn't for the time spent rendering.

Thanks, yeah lux is slow, that's why I have been experimenting to see what slows it down

Nicely done. Would like to know your light and fog settings if possible and what you used to get the rays. Paolo used a prop (plane with swirls) in his vids to achieve this effect, but I can't seem to find it. Working on a large scenery piece with light in the far distance (mesh cone) and the fog prop close to viewer pov. I just can't get the fog to look like anything other than translucent styrofoam. Thanks.

I have been using the values from Paolo's tutorial at preta3d.com/video-tutorial-cre…
The keys seems to be setting the FOG cube's material AMOUNT value to 6,6,6 and the RAYS value to double that 12,12,12.Β
In this experiment I used one spot light from DAZ behind the forest instead of a mesh light.
I did cheat and play with the levels in Photoshop.

Hopefully that helps a little, I'd love to see what you come up with.
