he is a king for sure, looks like his whiskers need some tweaking, they look really stiff against the rest of his fur.

Thank you, I never know what expression to pit on these big cats and always tend to just make them snarl

Well, I bet they have some other expressions as well. But yes, it's much less options with animals to not make them look to toony.Β

That does NOT look like a Meow! Awesome character though. Unfortunately me and LAMH don't work together very well... it tends to crash more often than not, destroying my scenes. I have better experiences with Garibaldi, never chrashed so far. Exporting importing the hair as obj is the same, but the 'coiffing' tools work much better for me in garibaldi.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoePingleton In reply to FreyrStrongart [2017-07-18 17:38:56 +0000 UTC]

Thank you, I always wondered ifΒ Garibaldi worked better. Is there better control of the hair and do you have to start from scratch to add it to figures?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FreyrStrongart In reply to JoePingleton [2017-07-19 10:44:38 +0000 UTC]

There are two big advantages I find to Garibaldi. First off... if you export the hair to obj the guides don't disappear like in LAMH so if you made a mistake you can go back and style some more. The styling is better I find. However, it is rather more complicated to get the hair to take the color of the underlying fur, so I use it mostly for human hair, which has its own color anyway. It would be easy to work with a skullcap so that your hairdo works for a lot of different characters though.
You can save your characters too I think but I hardly ever do that. It is very solid, I've rarely had a crash while LAMH crashes on me all the times.
