A quick experiment playing with a free zebra texture for DAZ Horse 2 and trying to modify Alessandro's "DAZ Horse 2 – war horse " Look at My Hair Preset to create the zebra's mane and tail. Thank you, I can never decide how much DOF to use. The main thing is I wanted enough separation that the cow in the back didn't look like it was coming out of the front cow's butt

Interesting work here. Though I feel the tail of DAZ Horse 2 is tolerable at a pinch, the mane is terrible. This looks much better, though I wonder if it could be less stiff. Is that possible with LAMH?
Also, would it be possible to create the complete coat? Since that's what mostly bugs me with the horse, it looks simply *expletive deleted* close up... I'd sure love to see you try it, since you're so good with LAMH...

I just had to try this since I found the free Zebra texture and thought that the LAMH "War Horse" preset modified would work for the mane and tail. Zebras manes looked pretty stiff to me so it seemed to work as it. Horses manes would need to lay a lot flatter. I love the way Hivewire Horse's manes look, but I am not ready to invest in another horse model at this point.
I've been thinking about modifying the coat I created for the cow model to work for a horse since they use the same base DAZ Horse 2 figure, but then I got distracted by the new Strand Based Hair in the latest beta.
