Description
I had to play with "Hunter Gear for Genesis 3 Male(s)" since the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is one of my favorite games ever. Stonemason's "Misty River Gorge" seemed like a great place for a quick scene. Then I revisited the idea of a skull rock and added some bones andΒ "Lernaean Hydra" for fun.Β No post work.Related content

I love the Witcher games and books and couldn't resist trying something that looks like them.Β I just kept adding things until it felt like a little story.Β The bones helped give everything a more dangerous feeling

Man, that's a really cool looking scene. I love the bone pile & the skull rock they look really cool, but is that a dead hydra or snake laying there missing its head? Well, it looks like 2 of them, one on each side of the render. In other words, what the what!?! LOL

Thank you, I started this scene from one of Stonemason's "Misty River Gorge" presets camera angles.Β Then I kept adding things that seemed to start telling a little story.Β I tried adding the hydra, but it was too big to fit in the scene, so I cheated and added two cut off parts on both ends of the scene because it felt like maybe he cut a giant snake in halfΒ Β

Then that's exactly what he did, but what strength he has to hew that monster into a time or 2.
I gotta borrow that idea of adding in scenery that "tells a story" instead of just randomly adding things in. Makes a nicer pic when things add up like this.

Its much funner to hint at a story (even when I have no idea what that story is).Β the commentators tend to think up much better stories for my images than I ever thought about.Β Like in your last image, I thought it was just and alien and a creature, until I saw the reflections and then it made me think that they where a team escaping a bunch of soldiers after planting their bomb.Β

WOW! I like your version of my last render. It sounds more exciting than alien with robot guy looking at the lady's reflection in the glass.
I'm with ya, though. I have no clue what's going on in some of my pics.

I had to go back and see that they where looking at a lady in the reflection, I thought it was a soldier pointing a gun at them.Β See my imagination takes over an I see more than what is there and build my own story in my head

2dFoxy In reply to JoePingleton [2018-03-26 01:45:12 +0000 UTC]
Yeah that was accidental, but she does seem to be holding a gun. I can see where that'd be mistaken, but it looks great & the blurriness leaves a lot to the imagination, so it all works out great.
