I do the same thing sometimes of starting out with a figure & then figuring out what kind of scene that I want to do. Is there any other way?
Seriously, though, I like this pic. With the title, I have to wonder what's he's pledging to do. Is it to keep a secret? To do some daring deed? Or maybe she wants a Happy Meal from McDonalds. Who knows?
I like that her back is to us, the viewers. I have a problem with that because I want to see the characters clearly. that rarely happens in real life. It's something I need to look into with my own renders. Thanks for doing this. It gave me some insight into why my own work looks off.

I had the same problem, I didn't want to just see her back, but it looked weird not having her look at him.

I think that's one of my worst problems when drawing or using Poser. I feel like everything needs to be seen & understood. Turning somebody's back feels like I'm hiding something. I'm gonna have to force myself to do a better job in this area, but you did a great job on this one.
As for McDonalds, I'd love to see some fantasy related people standing behind the counter at our local version.
