I don't know why it took me seeing the actual 3D image to realize there was only a single lion.
Also, I didn't know that's what the Spherical Camera actually did. I only noticed the fisheye effect.
As usual, you have come up with something both creative and well done!

Thank you,
I wanted to justify the use of aΒ 360 photo and the lion seemed like a fun use of the technology

I've got to get that one, I think it's the closest in the store that gets to the fisheye lens in real life. Very nice viewport fitting.

I was trying to figure out an image that would tell a story as a 360 photo

Welcome! Yes, it's not every scene which will be as effective as this one as 360.

Oh yeah... and I was kinda too late to react... yeah this is me writing to you minus my head... but hey seems you don't need a head to type... the head was kinda overrated anyways...

WOW! That's amazing. I wish that I could see this in 360 view, but the viewer you linked is pretty wild. Really fantastic job!

Thank you,
The link doesn't work for you? I discovered that if you view it on an iPad that the view is based off the orientation of the device. It may work that way on other mobile devices.
you can download the jpg and upload it to Facebook to see it too

I'm sorry, the link works fine on my screen. I just meant that I wish I could use the cell phone glasses thing I see on TV to actually look at the pic in a 360 view where I could move my head around & see it. I don't have an iPad just my PC tower or I'd try that.

A very brilliant idea!!! I really like it!
By watching to the flat picture we can guess what happens, but seeing it in 360Β° is really impressive!

Thank you,
I decided to post the raw file. Β It works better in Facebook because I can set the starting view to just see the people pointing behind you. Β I couldn't figure out how to set the start angle in the free viewer
