Description
Some more Wheel of Time fan art, this time depicting the male Choedan Kal statue being excavated near the village of Tremonsien, in Cairhien. The Choedan Kal are two giant sa'angreal that were created during the War of Power, one for a man and one for a woman. During the Battle near Shadar Logoth, Nynaeve al'Meara and Rand linked outside Shadar Logoth, and tapped the Choedan Kal through the access ter'angreal. Rand was successful in cleansing the taint from saidin.Related content

Oh, what an amazing giant! I didn't realize right away how big it really was until I saw the horse and rider! The rainbow light reflecting off of the crystal looks wonderful.

Vary nice render that reminds me of dozens of fantasy and superhero stories where someone ended up turned to stone. The lens flare effect is especially nice too. I assume from the Fast Fog. Great render and image. One that invokes memories even outside of it's universe is really powerful.

I love Fast Fog, it's a great way to add some depth to scene without much rendering overhead. I am always worried when I add lens flare because it feels so cliche, but it felt right to me in this image
