Description
The Former Champion of Earthrealm, Liu Kang was closely allied with Raiden during the first Mortal Kombat Tournament. Due to witnessing Raiden's continued failure of protecting their Mortal Allies, Liu Kang began to loose support of the Thunder God. In the end, Liu Kang was caught in the cross fire when Raiden decided to allow Shao Kahn to merge Earthrealm with Outworld. In Liu Kangs death his soul was claimed by Quan Chi and remade into a revenant. Liu Kang now seeks vengeance upon Raiden, and in order to do so he allies with Shinnok during the NetherRealm invasion. However upon Shinnoks defeat, Liu Kang claims the vacant throne of the netherRealm and now he leads an army of hellspawn awaiting his chance to claim his vengeance upon Raiden and his allies.
