Description
Raiden is the protector of Earthrealm, after defeating Shinnok during the events of MK4 he was granted the status of Elder God. This new role made it impossible to be present on earth when the Deadly Alliance enacted their assassination of Liu Kang. Raiden decided to relinquish his Elder God status and return to earth to gather his heroes so they could go to Shang Tsung's island fortress in Outworld and put a stop to the Deadly Alliance.

Unknown to him, he does not realize a greater threat is looming in the shadows. Will he be able to stop Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and their undead army of the Dragon King!?
