Description
In the aftermath of Outworlds invasion, Cyrax is discovered deep in the middle of the Sahara Desert. Having been defeated in kombat, Cyrax's cybernetic body is buried beneath a sandstorm. With the Lin Kuei disbanded, Cyrax would have been lost to the world had it not been for the new Special Forces technology.
The Special Forces found Cyrax's distress beacon, and were able to reclaim the lost Cyborg. Able to resuscitate him, Cyrax awoke, with his prime directives telling him to kill the humans before him.

However, Cyrax found that he was no longer compelled to follow these orders. The human within him had finally taken control of the cybernetic body. Cyrax pleaded with the Special Forces operatives to aid him in reprograming his systems and change what was displayed on his Hud. Now free to make his own decisions, Cyrax joins the Special Forces in their new call to battle against the forces of Hell.
