Description
Kabal is a part of the Black Dragon Clan. A ruthless organization of killers, the Black Dragon works in the shadows supplying weapons and assistance to the highest bidder. Kabal is one of their top members before he makes the decision to abandon the clan and start a new life taking criminals down as a police man. So then when the realms are invaded by Shao Kahn he is one of the first humans to fight Outworld at the front lines. However he is attacked and burned by Kintaro and therefore left to die alone in the streets. Kano would be the one to find him and utilize outworld technology to revive his former Black Dragon brother. Having no longer any alliance to Kano, Kabal escapes outworld and regroups with Raiden's allies. Unfortunately Kabal was unable to survive an assault by a super powered Sindel and he among the other earthrealm heroes is killed in the temple. His soul is claimed by Quan Chi and Shinnok and he is now enlisted as a revenant for Shinnoks demon army.

When Kronika enacts her time distortion, she promises Kabal a better future, however this Kabal is the Past version of himself before he disbanded from the Black Dragon. Once again on the side of evil but this time still a living man, his choices will possibly unmake his Revenant future, and possibly for that matter, change the course of history for all of the Realms.
