Description
Having finally restored his ancestors honor, the spirit of the Great Kung Lao, shifts away into the heavens. Kung Lao finding peace within, can finally rest and live his life free from the pressures of his ancestors past failure.
However, when the forces of the NetherRealm breach the fabric of Earthrealm, this new threat calls Kung Lao out of retirement, and back to combat.

Finding that the monster Goro has some how returned as well, Kung Lao feels betrayed that his Ancestors Spirit does not return to him. Realizing that his Ancestor has found peace, Kung Lao vows to find his own peace with the Monster and put an end to this rivalry once and for all.
