In this act of defiance, Quan Chi sent assassins after Ashrah to eradicate her, however as Ashrah went into hiding, she discovered an ancient relic that was thought to be lost in the Netherrealm. The Kriss, a sword with Heavenly Origin, laid in the depths of hell, and Ashrah was able to wield it. As the Assassins moved in, the demoness utilized The Kriss weapon and slew her pursuers. Noticing that her body transformed, the more demons The Kriss disposed of, the more its wielder was purified of her Demonic essence. Ashrah slowly became more human and noticed the evil within her soul had been reduced tremendously, and soon she would be rejected from the NetherRealm.

Her next target is too seek out and kill Quan Chi's wraith, Noob Saibot.
