Sub-Zero had returned to the location of the Lin Kuei Temple, and found Sektor inside. Sitting alone at the headmasters throne, Sektor immediately attacked Sub-Zero, still viewing the Cryomancer as a traitor from all those years ago.

However despite Sektor's attack, Sub-Zero was able to take down the cyborg and dismember his head. Sub-Zero claimed the Grand Masters Medallion and left the Temple with no desire to ever return to this forsaken place.

Out in the Arctic, Sub-Zero discovers the entrance to an Ancient Temple, here he decides to make this the new home of the Lin Kuei. As Grandmaster Sub-Zero will lead a new clan of warriors to protect EarthRealm... although a mysterious door in the lower levels of the new Temple has Sub-Zero's curiosity. Someone has been here before...
