In Liu Kang's New Era, the Mantle of "Scorpion" is no longer Hanzo Hasashi's to bare. Kuai Liang, the biological brother of Bi-Han now dons the Yellow Gi familiar of the Shirai Ryu. Now a warrior with the power over hell fire, Kuai Liang honors the Lin Kuei by fulfulling his duties for the Protection of Earthrealm under Liu Kang's wishes for the betterment of the realm. However recently he has bared witness to his Brothers resentment towards tradition. Now that he is the Grandmaster, Bi-han seeks to expand the Lin Kuei's reach and become its own nation.This new ideology is not supported by Kuai Liang, and so he fears that one day he may have to battle for the control of the Lin Kuei Clan.
