So here's where all this female zombie obsession is going/has sparked. I sort of came up with a concept/story. I'm not going to get into too many details, but to give a basis, there's a major outbreak that spread quickly, but it only affects women. The theory from one survivor is it was somehow administered through a new form of birth control which was recently released to the public.The main chunk of the story will follow two male survivors... That's basically the brunt of what I've come up with so far, without getting too deep into detail.
Something about this is just clicking for me, and I think working through this will ultimately help me a lot with building the Slumlords story as well.

watch the truly terrible and therefore brilliant movie "zombie strippers" with jenna jameson. They work on the idea that the original virus, which was developed to make super soldiers, and it's the y chromosome that mutates the virus into what we all know as "zombies"... thought it might interest you

great remix piece, it really emphasizes the great linework.
And as far as stories about survivors of global cataclysms I want to bring the up the Road, about a father and son traveling south in the wake of an unnamed catastrophe, and I want to bring it up because of the importance of the relationship dynamic between the survivors and The Road was frankly one of the best. Good luck with your story.

A friend of mine also brought up a comic "Y-The Last man", and I'm reading that now... What happens in my book sort of has the reverse effect of that, but it's definitely more straightforward as to the cause of the outbreak. That's the main frustration with trying to come up with a story, there's always others that pop up that have similar ideas and things like that. What I've got so far I think is decent though, and I want to approach it with this sort of undertone of really dark, cynical humor, and also make social, cultural, religious and political jabs, you know? There's also some pretty somber parts as well though.
As far as the dynamic between the two characters goes, it will be pretty explosive, awkward and confrontational at times, due to their different backgrounds. This way too, when I sort of channel in a personal rant or something like that, I can touch on both sides.

The color one's awesome but this one's even better! I don't know if it's the simplistic color scheme in comparison, or the fact that the black is a little bolder looking over the red, but this some great stuff man!
