that's kewl as an illustration, and now we can say that typography is an important part of ur art, it seems that it taked a fair share inside your works, as how deep coloring, and perfect outlines are taking.
I have to say that you are fond with Black Letter script style of fonts. Hmmm, but why because it is old style? u make good contrast between the old and modern then. that's interesting and to be honest with you that may make very unique dramatic style. I would gladly advice you to try making some heraldry themes, like the heraldic lion.. may be. but i am interested to know how u may use the copy font for your comics? will it be a normal comics font like these comics font examples. I know that comics fonts are a very heavy business line. Or will you design your own font? .. i am not sure.
Another thing, I would like if you use the david car5on's font which called mexican with this guy, it may make another scence. i don't mean that the blackletter here is bad, i am just suggesting another intresting point of view, as known david car5on's fonts are mostly display fonts.

I've always been a fan of the blackletter-style. Especially for something like this piece, as a lot of Mexican tattoos are done in this style of lettering.
I'll definitely try that out (Carson's fonts). That guy's a legend.
As for the text in my comic, you know, I haven't really thought of that yet, but now that you mention it, it's a very important element that I have to start looking into. I focus so sharply on the imagery, but type choices can truly make or break a piece. As I get closer to putting it all together, I'll surely be asking for your opinions.

That guy has done a really cool blackletter/gothic/fraktur font called 'newcastle' [link] Check it out (if you dont already got it).
