I wonder that Lord Vortech was once a part of an ancient cosmic race, who were created by an ancient entity, that existed right before the Lego Multiverse began; and a member of a group that once ruled Vorton and maintain the balance of the cosmos, which he betrays them and his entire race after learning the existence of Foundation Prime that located somewhere in the center of the Lego Multiverse and plans to use its power to recreate the entire cosmos in his own twisted image by colliding all the universe together in perfection, took one of the X-PO units, blew up a large chunk of Vorton, and begin his quest for Foundation Prime and his domination on the Lego Mutiverse.

It might be the 90s Lego PCer in me, but I was hoping that by the final battle in the game, that Lord Vortech was in-actuality The Brickster all along; so we Lego Maniacs'd be treated to a bonus character unlocked at the end like what we got in Brawl with Sonic. My kid brother thought that Lord Vortech was really Baron Typhonus from Lego Universe; whom merged with -and corrupted- the last trace of Pure Imagination to become the very heart of the Maelstrom in Lego Universe, either one would have worked just fine and be better than what we got in the game.

The wholeΒ game could have been more popular if it had a sense of originality to it. All we areΒ treated to is a bunch of syndicated and already-licensed characters thatΒ were madeΒ intoΒ Lego form for selling points of the game. The story is as cardboard cut-out as one could have gotten. I was hoping that with a title as big as "Lego Dimensions", I was hoping for a story close-to-worthiness with Lego Universe with just as much replay value.Β

The story basically goes when Lard Vortech returns but in a new body... and notices that there are more worlds to conquer, he targets sonic's world and Lilac's world first, then Mega Man and then Street fighter... as more worlds become added, sonic notices old friends and new faces

But basically, that's gonna be a purpose in the comic I'm making, but not Vortech. Vortech with the main antagonist
