Description
Inspired by this beautiful video; [link]So I suppose this picture's the next step in the growth of Doctor Who
I'm actually enjoying Clara so far. I think the actors have fabulous chemistry on screen together, but... as a couple? No. Not yet anyway. I still adore Eleven and River too much to see him and Clara having a quick romance (something that bugged me about The Snowmen, why the kiss?) But I like their dynamic anyway and I could see them slowly coming to a trusting romance one day.
I'm loving her development so far this season too, less cocky and more human.

I grew up listening to 80's music,
come sail away by The Styx is a song I sing in the car with my dad. It's very fitting for the Docter.

First off, lovely picture you have here.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that way. Although, being the master of the mixed message that he is, I don't think there's as much of a romance (at least on the Doctor's side) as some seem to think.
As far as the Doctor's interest in Clara, I don't know if I'd call it so much an "obsession" as a hesitance to (and perhaps desperately wanting to be sure he can) trust her. Which also ties into why the TARDIS is having similar issues with Clara as well. Which makes sense, as one usually doesn't walk away from what recently happened to him (in regards to the Ponds) without at least some trust issues. I didn't expect him to come out of "The Snowmen" all ready to trust to another companion again.

Thanks~
To mean the Doctor's a kind of asexual love-every-body-and-everything guy (exempting some certain pepper pots) so it feels odd to say that the Doctor has a one true love, or one that would form so quickly anyway with such a younger person.
Yes, that makes sense, I think I'd be annoyed if he were to bounce back so soon. I suppose I say obsession because of his motivation for getting her to travel with him, his initial interest is trying to figure out who/what she is, rather than "she has good skills and love for adventure, I'd like someone like her to travel with me." Especially with that painting he did of her during his time with the monks.
