Bloody hell, it looks like you've added more depth to your nebulae. How you figured it out I have no idea, as here I was thinking you couldn't possibly add more depth without using a stereogram...

There's that dark and mysterious sense to it that I really like and the nebula is very beautiful . The ring in the background looks cool ^_~.

The middle portion of the nebula is outstanding. Great work!

Quite a beautiful nebula as well as a great space-scape. Excellent work Joe.

Have you ever made a tutorial or thought of making one? A simple one for beginners, maybe
Also, I love this piece. I wish we could see the wonders of space this clearly.

And I thought the ships are the weakest part of the image

So, let me get this right. You use Photoshop? And make all this from scratch?

Yeah. Just the planet is textured - texture again made by me in PS - so, basically, yeah, from scratch.

Man, that is an awesome talent. I can barely make a good planet. So props to you.

Thank you. But it took a lot of practice to get here (and there is still a lot to achieve). Talent is just a small element inside all of us. The rest needs endeavor and patience.

Tis true. Well, now I have this urge to make Spaceships. And what do Spaceships need? A background, so I better start getting good at making space scenes. And thank you for more inspiration.

Living on the same planet for millions of years can get boring, they're off to find new places now - but good luck finding somewhere where there's a nebula that close by - if they head to Earth, they'll be greeted by a disappointing night sky
Great job on the nebula, but some parts still look too sketchy like on the upper-right above the smallest spaceship

Got tired ... no, really - I like it this way - less detailed where it doesn't need to be.
