The cloudy nebulous depth is truly excellent with the reflection and depth, especially to the left hand side. Some, such as top/right is a little too sketchy with the rest of the piece, though. The planetary textures are also tasty, with the way in which they warmly blend in with the rest of the piece -- although, I am not liking the halo on that smaller planet to the top left (and on the larger one, to a lesser extent). The ships are a nice touch with the close-up nebulae, although this piece works just as nicely without them, I think (though the [star]gate is a really nice touch, so perhaps with smaller ships this would look awesome as well). The light casting on those inner stellar nursery planets is perfect, and the flares around the place work well. Sort of reminds me of a cross between Gary Tonge and Greg Martin...
