Do you reference some Hubble photos or something when you art, or do you just magically wave hand and near perfection comes into being.Β

Every once in a while... ...well, at least in my case - but the number of sold prints gets lower each year.

Beautiful colors and cotton candy-like texture. I like how 'octopussy' it looks too.

The purple colour scheme looks very classic sci-fi I like the flowy area towards the right the most

Don't sell yourself short, you have a good flow in this scene, nice lighting, a palette that can easily become too funky if pushed a bit too far and some very nice detailing. That's not all that easy to achieve. I know because I regularly try and usually have a hard time getting it to suit my taste.Β
Would love to see a tutorial of your process for these nebula pics.

Thank you for the appreciation. The problem of such tutorial would be in the fact that I sometimes spend a lot of time experimenting around with these images (in contrast with commissioned work where I go for a specific concept) - I just don't have an idea when it comes to nebulae - the outcome video would be quite a chaos ... and the recording process slows down my system which is already quite busy with Photoshop.

Lol, it's kind of nice to hear this answer, because that's exactly how most of my own images get developed. That is precisely why I am always interested in how others go about it. I guess I am just looking for tips, tricks, or techniques that help me take a more direct path from an idea for a nebula to a nice finished result. But it just rarely works out like that. Lots never make it halfway, some do, but only after endless experimenting and fiddeling around. Often I quit at the end of a late night, frustrated that its not working out, and then when I look at it in the morning, I decide its fine the way it is. Sometimes they go well, but that is no guarantee that the next one will work out. I guess a sure fire flowing way of creating nebula art will always remain something of a holy grail.

There is NOTHING boring about space. This is breathtaking.
