MAnnn I would lLOVEEEEE a tutorial...I've been wanting to start sculpting for milleniums..but just didn't know how to start..I recently took the steps to buy the tools..but didn't really know which clay to use..untill you gave me the advice that is..I bought one kilo skin colored supersculpey..is that enough to make a predator sculpture? I'm very thankfull for the advice you gave me buddy..you gave me the push over the edge that I needed..plus your predator sculpture really inspired me..O yeah and I allready made a lame pred sculpture a couple of months ago with some weard clay that hardens in air..that was super lame cause I had to complete it in one evening..my back hurt like hell that night XD!..and when it hardened it got cracks..I may put up a picture of it when I put some extra clay on the cracks..It isn't too bad for a first attempt..
but back to the tutorial..It would be GREAT!!!! maybe in 3 parts in depth tutorial...starting with a turorial on how to make an armature..and a second tutorial focused on the sculpting..and the third on how to paint and wich paint to use and stuff!..That would be a descent walkthrough for starters
Got another question man..I read that supersculpey needs to be baked to become a hard plastic..do you need a special oven for that..or will a normal domestic house oven do the job?
Thanks again!! can't wait for the tutorial! I will use it to make an awesome pred
You're awesome!

Hi man, glad to read your comments, ell, let's start from the beginning...
I'm happy I helped you and pushed you to sculpt something awesome!!!
One kilo is more than enough to sculpt an awesome predator, all you need is to cover the wire skeleton with plenty aluminum foil, this will save you a lot of SuperSculpey, a lot, believe me, this will be explained for the tutorial, i'm seriously thinking about doing it!
Thanx for your comments about my predator sculpt, I'm guessing that the clay that you used for yours was DAS, it's made of paper and hardens in air, sometimes it gets cracked, SuperSculpey never cracks, yes, i would love to watch pictures of your sculpt!
Three parts tutorial, got it man, the most difficult is sculpting indeed, but i can explain a few tricks on how to sculpt, painting, the final stage, i use brushes, some people... a lot of people uses airbrush, I'm not, so, that part would be 'Painting your sculpt with the good old brushes'...
Your question.... Yes, SuperSculpey needs to be baked to become hard, this means that you can work on it when you want to, you can even leave your sculpt for weeks, even months and return to work on it again, back to your question, you don't need a special oven for it, you can bake it with your domestic oven, pizza oven, etc, BUT NEVER WITH THE MICROWAVES OVEN! very important, SuperSculpey is not toxic, so, don't worry to bake it at home.
There's nothing to thank man, I'm sure you will sculpt something awesome!!!! Love Predators!!!!
Thanks man!!! I'm glad you liked my works, so, I'll be working on the tutorial, it maybe will take me sometime, to document step by step... So, be patient man! Cheers!!!!
