Description
This scene was the original idea for this collaboration with I had an absolute blast learning from my friend and coloring her work.I drew Fluffy, and tried to emulate the lurid color palette of Hammer horror film posters for the overall look of this part of the collab. Also referenced Basil Gogos' work as well - www.basilgogos.net

He just doesn't have good luck with potentially vicious canines (cf. Remus), does he? I never thought about this bit in light of the werewolf incident before, actually... I suppose the visual hints comparing the two are intentional? Or am I just crazy?

The colouring is fantastic in this one - it's so vivid and artistic at the same time. EVERY panel is brilliant. Now, you should learn me how to do that. The brushes, the saturation and the lights are very striking - it's super professional, too, in the good way. Impressive, Cathy. You're so good at digital painting now. ( aargh )

Awwww, thanks, but this layout was put together by Sayu. The palette/Cerberus I had fun with; borrowing color ideas from my brother's film poster collection. And that Gogos site I linked. She's got a technical eye that's way ahead of me . . . and she's forgotten more stuff about PS than I'll ever remember But that's the great thing about these - you learn. If we ever get to do a collab together I'd be glad to show you what little I've picked up
I've got to start my niece's book (the Angus series
) before Christmas gets here though
Seriously though, I'd love to do one with you.

This eye is fantastic. It is on my screen for now, WATCHING ME. very impressive.
yaih!!! I think about two scenes : one with Dumbledore (the Anything one) and one with Voldemort (when he comes back in the end of GoF), for example... True courage there... OK, but that's not for now, sure. Angus series and other stuff first indeed....
