He got his first official job in comics when he won the Official Marvel Comics Try Out Contest back in the 80s.

I don't even buy Marvel Comics all that much (Except for every Deadpool I can find and some Spiderman) but I would buy this just for the colors. Colors like this capture my eyes. <3
