And Princess Twilight Sparkle lived happily ever after.Being inspired by Andy Price and Bill Watterson I’ve decided to try to experiment more with panel layouts, it’s definitely more fun than just a few simple rows of boxes.

I am a fan of MLP FIM, and the Equestria Girls series. But Twilight have using her wings for quills from her wings, will lead to feather-loss, which could cause Twilight to sort of not be considered an alicorn anymore. Other than that, the art is very lovely, and I've never seen a comic like this one. I haven't seen drawings like yours, at least maybe not yet. Suppose you don't see a comic like this everyday, along with the speeches. Over all that, this was a great short comic, I may tend to say so. Anyways, Ciao my friends!

I still remember that episode where Owlicious had given twilight a feather of hers. I really love how you went with this comic, (imagine Princess Celestia and what she would do). I read lots of mlp fanart but this one is very different. It wasn't meant to be funny i guess, but that elation on twilight's face says it all. I can imagine twilight in future comics with purple quills, and spike.... well being spike. Well critiques should have cons too, right? Twilight would soon lose her wings, (or just have the skele- yeah.... never mind) and won't her previous supplier run out?Ok. To summorize. It. Was. An. Awesome. Idea. Period.

I love your art style, so unique in ways. And also, it is true that Twi has bult in quills XD I wish she could said that in the show. And so much vibrant colors. Honestly I have to say that I love the style you use on your pictures. It's a simple, almost vintage cartoon look but the simplicity makes it so adorable. I especially enjoy the way you draw Twilight Sparkle, she's so expressive and just lovely all around.
Your technique for the backgrounds is excellent as well, it's likely digital but it gives off the feeling that it's inked color and it takes a good deal of talent to mimic that sort of style on a software.
Overall, I think you did a grand job with this strip, it's funny, adorable, and original!

I think the art design of this comic is comparable to that of a squash-and-stretch cartoon...and believe it or not, I find that incredibly interesting. Twilight and Spike look incredibly cartoonish, and in the last panel, Twilight's eyes were extremely humongous. This stuff is comic strip gold. This is to deviantART what "Calvin & Hobbes" is to the comic strip sections of newspapers. In all, Twilight's reaction to finding out that she could always use her feathers as spare quills was hilarious-but answer me this: what the hell is she gonna do when her feathers eventually become bald in time? Nothin'.

Its VERY cute and I really like your art. The joke is very simple but great.
It does bring to mind that if twilight keeps on pulling her feathers. And its awesome! You have to be careful with the colors you use or the brush because I can see the pixels and others tend to find that annoying. also add a little shade. But still! Its amazing and cute. ^^
Well that's all I can say but apparently I hope you continue your great works because it might be able to inspire many other people. Again its very cute and adorable. ^^ God bless

Wow, this is an interesting art style! I don't think I've seen much like it around here before. My favorite part of this is the idea, perhaps because it reminds me a lot of myself. Finding out that I had built-in pencils would be amazing! It's also a quite original idea. I like the reference in the title too... and the backgrounds are neat! If I were going to suggest something, I would have to ask... where did the broken quill go? Did she just drop it on the floor? It just seems like it disappears...

You do have build in pencils. 20 of them 10 short 10 long. Just painful to use the sharpener.

My guess for the fate of the quill would be a nearby waste bin of some kind: Using quills generates quite a bit of trash as you repeatedly trim them to maintain the point then throw out the quill as it gets too short. (Ever wonder about the term 'pen knife'? now you know.)
To be honest, somepony should give Twilight some metal nib pens.
