Commissioned by @n64by44 , who requested see me remake a scene from 1953 Looney Tunes short, “Wild Over You” staring Pepe Le Pew in my own art style.
This I found to be a slightly difficult task trying to make this classic scene look more “My style”. Looney Tunes is a huge influence on my art style and Chuck Jones (who directed the cartoon), is probably the biggest individual influence from the crew that created those shorts (second only to Tex Avery). So I had to think of ways to make things look simpler and more stylized. It was also a bit hard to stuff this entire scene into one page and I had to cut out a few poses to make sure the pages didn’t get overcrowded. Still I find it a nice tribute to the original short.
