Here's my entry forΒ CJM-Collexionz's contest . So we had to pick one of he's existing fakemon starters, and transform them in to real looking Sugi artwork. I choose the fire starterΒ Litorse , because it has a nice concept for a horse pokemon, and I immidiatly thought of the evolutions and how I could play with the whole idea of a fire horse.Related content

Yes, so copied? They look absolutely nothing like Rapidash and Ponyta, are you serious? There's only so much you can do with a pokemon designed like a horse, and this person's artwork is completely unique.Β

Nice work on these ones! I like the original take on these designs and although there is already ponyta and rapidash, you've managed to make these look original, which is not something I've seen done very often with fan-made fire type horses! I have to admit I'm a little in love with these.

Wow! These are absolutely spectacular. I've seen your gallery before and I knew that you'd make something brilliant for my contest when you said you were participating. You've definitely got the Sugi style going on. Flashequine looks pretty badarse! Putting all that to one side, I've got a question for you. How comes you've changed Litorse's design?

thank you! Well, it's a whole process, so, I liked the idea of those little mechanic torches on it's head and I decided to keep that but also change it up a little bit, by making it look sort of more "natural" by making this sort of little cannon on its head,like the onesΒ blastoise got on it's shell, but without the metal color. I wanted to change the whole aspect because it seemed to basic or generic, so that's how I change the entire body, I wanted to look more athletic and dynamic. I also liked the idea of a little shield, so I put a shield looking form on the chest, and you can see it's changing with the evolutions. I'm going to send you some pics of the whole conceptualization process, all that I said in word it's pretty much in there with drawings and stuff.

I have no problem with your opinion on my design of Litorse. However, it's offensive as in literally changing the design of Litorse into something you think would look better. It's like getting Torchic, and drawing a Torchic of how 'you' think it should've looked like. It a cool Litorse you've drawn, but it's not my Litorse. Do you see where I'm getting at? But don't worry. I said your work is great and it was just a curious question I wanted to ask.

because I saw some other contestant's entries, and they were not exactlyΒ
like you original fakes. But, if it was just to recreate the exact fakemon
