You did the colouring in Photoshop though right?? This is good. Would've been good to see something a lil more than just him floating over a plane-ish background but the Ironman figure itself is done professionally, strong skills if you did that from scratch

No for the photoshop part, this was entirely done on Illustrator cs5, including the color part. I love Illustrator and today with the cs5 and the gradient meshes tool you can do awesome stuff. There has to be around 1000 gradient meshes or smth like that haha not talking about the amount of layers. Here's a pic if you want an idea of the amount of vectors created : [link]
So yeah I totally agree with you for the background (which was made in around 2 minutes ) and i did plan to do something with it in a near future, its just that the character itself took me a good month to create so I gave myself a break and will try to do something with it soon ^^.

Yup Fun part with Illustrator is that its all vector based, i love creating things with unlimited size : D
I'm about to finish another important work made on Illustrator aswell, will upload it in a couple of hours = )
