Description
My second "political" photograph. I changed the background color via color balance and curves adjustment, because the old background color was so boring, this on the other hand is more dramatic and I think it fits the photograph better. I decided it belongs in 'Conceptual' rather than in 'Photomanipulations', because the manipulation I did on this one was rather minimal.Here's the first photograph of this series.

Yeah ... well the photograph symbolizes MY perception of what the U.S. administration thinks of it's soldiers, that they are expendable, like things ... in this case I thought a M4 carbine rifle would better bring out that message, since it's American and also used by the U.S. military

interesting. you have conceptualised this well. i do prefer the background to the original, but i feel the outline of the rifle too ill-defined.

there seems a strange aura around the edges. so in a sense, yes i think a sharper edge would be better
