This is My first favorite image on the whole DA. I found it in 2009 (long before I joined here) Beautiful colors, shades and the hat and dad's eyes. Β This is one of the most interesting DAD characters in the world, next to Skipper from PoM.

Oh WOW! The atmosphere you've created with the lamp light in contrast with the dark night's sky in the window. You've just captured the whole warm, homely, yet secluded feel of Moomin house for me. Amazing!

I really love it! I love the fact that a cartoon, such as a Moomin character, is on a canvas AND painted with oil paint. It's like taking something childish to make it serious - It's just so cool and original!
