“Revolution of the stars” (A3 comic, inks and watercolor + black pen)
Made for Saturday art classes. We had to draw ourselves as characters we’d like to be in an imaginary world, then make a comic page narrating a dream and ending with the main character waking up, like Little Nemo .
This is based on a dream I had in September (yes, it made no sense, but I really wanted to paint that sky).
Mister Tambourine Man used to be an imaginary friend of sorts that kept appearing in my dreams from 2010 to 2011 approximately. I called him like that because I used to listen to a lot of Bob Dylan at the time. He was kind of a troublemaker despite his kindness, so I thought that if my character was the equivalent of Nemo, Mister Tambourine Man could be my equivalent of Flip, even if he hasn’t appeared in my dreams for a while.
